Payment Instructions

If you do not pay online, the CCID Court only accepts cash payments (must be exact change) or money orders as forms of payment for fines and fees. We do not accept personal checks for the payment of fines and fees. Traffic tickets, fees, fines, and costs may be paid online by visiting the link on the CCID Court page below. .

Payment of Traffic Tickets Prior to Court Date
Mississippi law allows you to prepay certain traffic tickets prior to the court date. The back of your ticket has more information about doing so. You may pay those tickets in person, by money order, or by going to this page: Pay Fine →

Payment of Fines Fines are due IN FULL on the day of sentencing. This will be either the day you plead guilty or the day you may be found guilty. Fines will include the amount assessed by the judge and all applicable state assessments. There is never a fine when you are found not guilty. All tickets and certain misdemeanor offenses will be reported immediately to the Department of Public Safety.

Online payments require payment in full for each case. Additional fees will be accessed should you choose to pay your fine online via credit or debit card. The fee for paying online will be displayed prior to submitting your payment. Once you submit your payment, you will receive an acknowledgement that your payment was successfully submitted.

Since Mississippi State Law prohibits local governments from paying these fees, the charge must be passed to the customer. Your card will be charged a non-refundable fee when utilizing this online payment service.

NOTICE: By paying any ticket online, that has not been dispositioned by a Municipal Court Judge, you will be entering a GUILTY plea and waiving your rights to a trial before a Municipal Court Judge. If required by state law, your violation will be recorded as a conviction and reported to the Mississippi Department of Public Safety. If you wish to plead NOT GUILTY, you MUST appear in court on the date noted on your Ticket. If you are paying an old case that has already been dispositioned by a Municipal Court Judge, you would have already plead on this case(s) and the Judge has entered a finding of GUILTY.

If you are unable to locate your citation online or the option you are requesting is not available, please contact the court or appear in person for further information.
